Hi Mary! I hope you love Rome! I can't wait to get back there. If you can fit it in, be sure to go to the Borghese Gallery while you're there. I'm sure you've been to a ton of art galleries, but the Bernini sculptures there are seriously one of the coolest things I saw in all of the Eternal City! Another of my favorite paintings at the Borghese was Titian's Sacred and Profane Love, the gallery's "signature" painting. And don't forget to eat a TON of gelato and throw a coin over your shoulder into the Trevi fountain (originally also a Bernini materpiece), and make a wish that you'll return to Rome. I'm surprised that you liked the Basillica more than the Sistine Chapel. I felt exactly the opposite. Very beautiful.
